Vintage Snowmobile Activities
(non-vintage snowmobiles welcome as well)

=Saturday February 18=

Bring your vintage snowmobile(s) to display at the groomer barn open house before and after the parade.

This is not a formal show. There will be no formal judging or class trophies.

  • Vintage Parade
Ride your vintage snowmobile in the Winterfest parade at 11 AM.

  • Vintage Trail Ride
A vintage trail ride is planned, with donations to benefit the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life.

The first ride will start immediately after the parade. We will loop back on trails to the groomer barn.

A second group ride is planned after lunch and the raffle drawing at approximately 1:30 PM.
Exact route and distance will depend on interest and conditions.

There is no fee for participation, but donations will be accepted.

Please fill in a registratioin card so we can contact you next year.

Vintage snowmobiles do not need a current NYS registration to participate in the parade or trail ride, but they must be insured..

The vintage ride permit does not cover any operation of non-registered
snowmobiles outside of the planned activities on Saturday.
However, should the vintage ride not take place as scheduled on Saturday,
there is a possiblity of rescheduling an organized vintage ride on Sunday.

Per NYS snowmobile regulations, liability insurance coverage is required for operation
of any snowmobile on roads or public trails.(not required for static display only).

Operators must meet NYS age requirements:

  • Youths ages 14 through 17 years old may operate a snowmobile, without adult or other supervision only if they have completed a snowmobile training safety course recognized by NYS. Youths ages 14 through 17 years who have not completed the training course, they may only operate a snowmobile if accompanied by (within 500 ft) of a person who is at least 18 years of age.
  • Youths ages 10 through 13 may operate a snowmobile if they have completed a snowmobile safety training course recognized by NYS and are accompanied by (within 500 feet of) a person who is 18 years of age.
