  • Volunteers from the Boonville Amateur Radio Club provide radio communications for major
events such as the Woodsmen's 10K and Fall Fest Town & Country 10K runs. The club is in
need of more licensed radio operators for these events. Obtaining the required amateur radio license is
relatively easy and does not require learning Morse code. It would be very handy for anyone working at
these events to be able to pick up a radio and communicate with the radio operators on the course. Aside
from that, ham radio can be a lot of fun. Please consider getting a ham radio license to add to your toolkit
    of resources.
